People, this sucks! - Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Reviews

Holy crap, 6 people have reviewed this(So far) and the lowest grade is an A-!!?? The first thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was that this tries to gross you out, and then tries to out do that gross out with something grosser, then something grosser, and so on. The room of bugs? No, thats not trying to top the snake pit from Raiders. Chilled monkey brains? Live snakes? Heart riping out? What the hell? And a fight with a huge guy on a convayor belt with a crushing thing at the end, that definetly isnt going trying to top the fight aroud the plain with the Nazi in Raiders. 2nd, the kid in this is annoying. This is a prequel, and he isnt in Raiders. Did he and Indy break up between this and that? Who cares? 3rd, the chick is worse than the kid. Some of the biggest flaws in James Bond movies are when there is a week female lead, like A View to a kill. 4th, annoying cameos and in-jokes. The OBI-WAN club? Dan Aykroyd? Come on, crap like that detracts from the expirience. 5th, prdictability, lack of suspense. This is two years before Raiders, so we know Indy will live(But even if it wasn't a prequel, we know he would live anyway,) but setting it it two years before is pointless. Plus, kids and girls never die, even if you want them to. Did you think for a second that Indy would stay a bad guy? 6th, bad plot. A temple of doom? What the hell is that? And why did we have to stay in this temple of doom for the whole movie? 7th, weak vilain. A guy who rips peoples hearts out. Something that came out of a swamp would have more charisma than this witch docter. Avoid at all costs. *
